Flowers have always felt like home. Growing up, I admired my father’s dedication to his garden roses and my grandmother’s floral arranging with blooms gathered in the garden for just about any occasion. After a college course on floral design, and a job putting together bouquets, I fell in love with the way floristry combines my passion for art with nature.
I graduated from Cal Poly with a degree in Agricultural Business and then furthered my floral knowledge at the Floral Design Institute in Portland. In 2015 I dove headfirst into the Bay Area floral industry, working for high-end flower shops and as a production manager for Loop Flowers. After gaining years of experience working for Loop and many other talented designers along the way, I started ROSE & OLIVE in 2021.
I specialize in designing with flowers that are of the season and I love sourcing locally grown whenever possible - I feel so lucky to live where I do and have access to such wonderful farms! Sustainability is woven into my process, with a focus on foam-free design, reusable mechanics, recycling, and thoughtful practices that minimize environmental impact.
Aside from my business, I am a mother to the sweetest little boy, a pug mom, a wife, an aspiring farmer, and a lover of all things interior design.
Thank you for being here!
