Meet Rose

Flowers have always felt like home. Growing up, I admired my father’s dedication to his garden roses and my grandmother’s floral arranging for just about any occasion, big or small. After a college course on floral design, and a job putting together bouquets, I fell in love with the way floristry combines my passion for art with nature.

I graduated from Cal Poly with a degree in Agricultural Business and then furthered my floral knowledge at the Floral Design Institute in Portland. In 2015 I dove headfirst into the Bay Area floral industry, working for high-end flower shops and Loop Flowers, a floral & event design studio. After gaining years of experience working for Loop and many other talented designers along the way, I started ROSE & OLIVE in 2021.

I am forever inspired by the new life that each season brings and I love sourcing local, sustainably grown flowers whenever possible. Each client and project is unique, and I strive to reflect that in my designs. ROSE & OLIVE flowers are romantic, whimsical, a little wild, and always designed to look effortlessly beautiful.
